12 Days Of Giving To Begin At Hazlemere
We are hugely excited that the Christmas countdown has officially begun, but we always feel that it is important to spare a thought for those less fortunate during the festive period.
Every Christmas, Hazlemere likes to give something back by raising money for deserving charities, and this year is no different as we prepare to start “12 Days of Giving”.
Starting on Wednesday 7th December, for 12 consecutive days, our company/staff members will be trying to generate as much cash as they can for 12 different charities, ONE a day.
They will be doing it by baking a few tasty treats, dressing up in their Christmas costumes and generally having a lot of fun.
Last year, we raised £4,000 for Barnardo’s, and the UK’s largest children’s charity is included in our 12-long list of charities, along with AGE UK, Dogs Trust, Macmillan Cancer Support, Make A Wish and several others that you will recognise.
The first lot of money raised on day one will be going to the RSPCA, day two goes to OXFAM, and so on.
We’re keeping our fingers crossed that we can break the £4,000 barrier of 2015 to help make the biggest possible difference to these immensely worthy causes.
