Germany had not lost in Berlin since 1973
It was not just the winning 2-1 last night, but the performance that brought this so called “friendly” match alive. It was great to see England outclassing Germany on their own soil. John Terry proved his credentials as a leader by taking full responsibility for Germany’s equalizer, when it was clear he had little help from Scott Carson. For Terry to get such an excellent winner and be the first footballing side to beat Germany in Berlin since 1973, demonstrates how far he and England have come under England Manager Fabio Cappello. Well done lads, a great watch!
