London Wasps upstaged by Wycombe Wanderers
Since London Wasps moved from Loftus Road to Adams Park they have won the Premiership, Heineken Cup and dominated Club Rugby Union – until this season. With 7 Guinness Premiership matches played, London Wasps have only mustered one win and are second bottom. Fair enough, a lot of their players have been on International Duty, but so have other Clubs.
Adams Park is no longer the fortress it was for London Wasps. Instead, their landlords, Wycombe Wanderers from Coca-Cola League Two, who Hazlemere Windows have been sponsoring for years, are showing up their tenants by not only being top of the League after 17 matches, but also unbeaten in the League, in fact going into December 2008 the Blues are the only unbeaten professional football team in the UK.
