Having now seen the new James Bond movie, it seems that despite being shot, the “evil” Mr White seemed to make it OK to the Opera soon after, and even more remarkably to the end of the Quantum of Solace without being killed by 007. Is James Bond losing his touch? Or are we just being given a hint of a sub-plot in the next James Bond movie? Daniel Craig makes the film his own and doesn’t need the crutch of one liners to carry off his role. Judi Dench as M was again magnificent, although the lack of gadgets and non stop action might not appeal to younger fans.
It was nice that the Quantum of Solace at least had a plot that made you think. I…
Hazlemere Window Company is proud to sponsor the new facilities at The Gore, the home of Burnham Football Club. The new stadium is very impressive and has a modern sizeable Conference & Banqueting Centre that many sporting clubs would give their right arm for. Hazlemere have agreed to be “Official Clubhouse Sponsors” for the next 3 years, and has several advertising boards at the stadium as a result.
Burnham Football Club play in the British Gas Business League Division One South & West. All the Blues fixtures are on www.burnhamfc.com or www.southern-football-league.co.uk
Hazlemere Windows used to have a Showroom Burnham for years, so their tie-up with Burnham Football Club is a…
Liverpool FC’s loss to Spurs in the Premier League last Saturday, means the ONLY professional UK football team unbeaten in the League is Wycombe Wanderers. This has largely been down to clean sheets, having only conceded 6 goals at home and away in Coca Cola League Two to date. I have no idea how long it can last, so lets hope my fellow Blues fans enjoy it while it lasts, as it is not being unbeaten that matters, but 3 points and getting automatic promotion come the Spring, so whilst it is nice to remain unbeaten, it will all count as nothing unless Wycombe Wanderers build on their best ever start to a League campaign and this season go all the way.
When, earlier today, Lewis Hamilton ran wide on the last lap of the Brazilian Grand Prix and Sebastian Vettel took 5th place, it looked that Massa had the World F1 title in the bag, and that McClaren had made the wrong call, with Glock in 4th place on slicks. However, what a call by McClaren and indeed what a last lap. I can only hope that Lewis Hamilton remembers to thank THE weatherman, as without the heavy rain on the last lap, he would not now be the yougest ever Formula One Champion.
My son David and I are big Lewis Hamilton fans, having seen him “live” at the British Grand Prix Silverstone last year. I can only hope that the humbling nature of his one point victory, makes him truly thankful for…
Hazlemere Windows had long been sponsoring the Chairboys before I joined the Club as Commercial Manager in 1992. Little did I know I was going to end up working there till 2004! My first contact with Hazlemere Windows, came when Wycombe Wanderers were still in the GM Vauxhall Conference as it was then (non-League). Hazlemere Windows even provided the trailer for the Club’s Matchday Programme Shop, which is still in the car park at Adams Park till this day!
When I moved in Beaconsfield in 1994, I obviously got a quote from Hazlemere Windows, given they were major sponsors at Wycombe Wanderers, and had such a good name locally. They replaced all the windows and doors in our new home with aluminium Monarch windows and…
