Campaign to cut VAT to 5% on energy saving products

According to the Mirror website, one in ten homes are so cold they are officially classified as a health risk. A new report shows 2.2 million properties are so poorly insulated people are at an increased risk of suffering heart attacks and respiratory problems.

Campaigners want VAT cut to five per cent on all energy efficiency products, such as double glazing.
