School Projects
Leon School, Bletchley, Milton Keynes

Products Used: Sapa Monaframe casement windows, high performance commercial doors
Hazlemere Commercial added to it’s portfolio of school projects with an installation mix of part new build and part commercial window replacement during this refurbishment valued at £1,150,000 + VAT The work included replacing the existing fenestration scheme and commercial door replacement throughout the school
Radcliffe School, Milton Keynes
Client: Architecture MK
Products used: Sapa Monaframe casement windows and Stormforce doors
An extensive refurbishment project was undertaken at Radcliffe School, valued at £800,000 + VAT with the commercial window replacement count including more than 360 Sapa Monaframe casement windows, whilst the commercial door replacement involved 45 Stormframe doors.
Lord Grey School, Bletchley, Milton Keynes

Products Used: Sapa Dualframe 75mm casement windows, Sapa 202 commercial entrance doors
Hazlemere Commercial was selected as the main contractor for this project, valued at £606,000 + VAT. The work involved replacing the windows, doors and framing to large areas of the School, including the tower blocks. The commercial door replacement involved replacing the existing doors with Sapa 202 commercial entrance doors.
Southwood School, Milton Keynes

Products Used: Sapa Dualframe 75mm casement windows, Sapa 202 commercial entrance doors
This £570,000 + VAT project involved the cutting back of structural Glue-lam timber roof joists projecting through the window line above existing mullions. Following structural engineering drawings, Hazlemere’s experienced installers added new structural timbers, stripping back and renewing roof tiles, battens, fascias and cement verges.
Wellsmead Infant School, Bletchley, Milton Keynes

This commercial door replacement and window project, valued at £214,000 + VAT was undertaken, for the majority, across school term time and was completed on time with minimal disruption to the staff and pupils.
Desborough School, Maidenhead, Berkshire
Client: Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead Council
Products Used: Monaframe vertical sliding sash, casement windows and commercial doors
The school underwent a major refurbishment programme, valued at £165,000 + VAT which included replacement of the existing traditional sliding sash windows with new aluminium low maintenance equivalents to retain the overall appearance of the building.
Forest School, Winnersh, Wokingham
Client: Wokingham District Council
Products Used: Architectonic Euroline 75 window system and PVCu fascia
This staged window replacement programme was rolled out in phases spanning from August 2005 - September 2006, both during term time and in school holidays. With the project value at £143,000 + VAT the work was undertaken with our customary care in safeguarding pupils, staff and visitors whilst the work was in progress.
Lane End School, Lane End, Buckinghamshire

Products Used: Sapa Dualframe 75 casement windows, 202 commercial entrance doors and a glazed aluminium roofing system
This far from straightforward installation was still completed during the 2008 school Summer holidays, despite the unusual ground conditions, discovered during initial excavation works, when water starting flowing from underneath the existing school buildings due to the high water table. Hazlemere’s construction department had to fit specialised drainage underneath the new lobby concrete floor, but still came in on budget at £31,000 + VAT.
Wood End Nursery, Stantonbury, Milton Keynes

Products Used: Dualframe 75 casement windows and Sapa 202 commercial doors
This Hazlemere Commercial installation at Wood End Nursery School, valued at £115,000 + VAT provided new ground floor windows and doors and replacement roof lights throughout the entire school. The aesthetic appearance of the school was also further enhanced with replacement fascias and soffits. The commercial door replacement involved Sapa 202 commercial doors.
Hazelwick School, Crawley, West Sussex
Client: Crawley District Council
Products Used: Sapa Elegance 52 curtain walling, Dualframe 55 casement windows and commercial doors
This project was a new build learning resource centre incorporating two storeys of glazed curtain walling, facetted in order to follow the designed curve, value at £83,453 + VAT
Birchwood School, Bishop Stortford, Hertfordshire
Client: Hertfordshire District Council
Products Used: Sapa Elegance 52 curtain walling, Dualframe 55 casement windows and commercial doors
Hazlemere Commercial projects were selected to work with main contractor, Ratcliffe & Burridge Ltd., on this prestigious contract valued at £62,169 + VAT. The project involved constructing a new-build three storey lift shaft extension and stairwell from facetted curtain walling.
Salesian College, Farnborough
Client: Hampshire Country Council
Products Used: Sapa Elegance 52 curtain walling and Dualframe 55 casement windows
This commercial window replacement project was undertaken entirely during the summer holiday period and had to accommodate a huge amount of school equipment which had been left in-situ, including benches, sinks, cupboards, which were all located directly adjacent to the windows being replaced. This project was valued at £55,000 + VAT
Residential Projects
Malmesbury Court, Netley Abbey, Southampton
Client: Housing 21
Products Used: Sapa Dualframe 75 aluminium casement windows and 202 commercial entrance doors
Acting as principal contractors for Housing 21 Housing Association, Hazlemere Commercial projects undertook a total facelift of the seaside adjacent Malmesbury Court. The original steel windows were removed and replaced with marine quality aluminium powder coated windows, insulated panels and fascias. This project was value was £315,000 + VAT
The Walled Garden, Decagon House, Oxford
Client: Henry Chopping
Products Used: Reynaers aluminium profiling, plus bespoke fasteners designed especially for the project
Hazlemere Commercial projects worked on this unique project featured on Channel Four TV’s property programme Grand Designs in partnership with the architect and the property owner, Henry Chopping, a Commercial Surveyor. The architectural design was inspired by Moroccan Tents, with the consequence that the windows and doors had to be made bespoke with special fasteners in conjunction with suppliers Reynaers UK. This project was value was £38,000 + VAT
Du Cane Court, Balham, London
Client: Dorrington Investments Plc
Products Used: Dualframe 55 casement windows
This was an extensive refurbishment programme, commissioned by our client Dorrington Investments Plc and was valued at £750,000 + VAT in total. The smooth running of this installation relied on liaising direct with individual tenants for survey and installation dates. As one of Hazlemere’s longer commercial window projects, work extended into a 3rd Phase, with private tenants seeking inclusion in this programme outside of the main project timetable.
West London YMCA, Hayes, Middlesex
Client: BCH Architects
Products Used: Dualframe 55 tilt-before-turn windows
Hazlemere Commercial were appointed as Main Contractor to carry out replacement window works to this 9-storey YMCA Building which remained occupied whilst the work was carried out. This project proved challenging as we were unable to scaffold the building due to close proximity of surrounding building and roads, so was completed using Mast Climbing Work Platforms. As commercial window projects go, this was not an easy one, and was valued at £410,000 + VAT
Compass Point, Bognor Regis
Client: Hamlet Homes Ltd
Products Used: Elegance 52 curtain wall, Dualframe 75 high performance doors, Dualframe 75 casement and 55 tilt-before-turn windows and Sapa commercial entrance doors.
Hazlemere Commercial projects were involved from the initial design stages of this prestigious block of luxury apartments situated on the Bognor Regis seafront. Due to the seafront location and the environmental conditions surrounding that a special ‘marine’ finish’ was required on the products used and was complemented by Pilkington sun-cool active glazing to meet the Architects spacious and light design. The project was valued at £242,000 + VAT
Wycombe Marsh, High Wycombe
Client: Birse Build & St James Plc
Products Used: Dualframe 75 casement windows and high performance doors
This new build project formed part of a major new development on the outskirts of High Wycombe, as part of the District Council’s overall town regeneration scheme and was valued at £220,000 + VAT. Undertaken over a staggered 15 month period the project required extensive liaison with the construction companies.
Cairngorm Close, Teddington, Middlesex
Client: Richmond Upon Thames Churches Housing Trust
Products Used: Monaframe windows and doors, Velux rooflights.
The commercial window replacement and door project involved replacing a mix of windows, doors and rooflights to four blocsk of residential apartments, two of which are situated over a parade of busy shops in Teddington High Street. This location required scaffold with debris netting and the work had to be undertaken on Sundays in order to allow constant access to the shops below. This project was valued at £211,000 + VAT
Commercial Projects
EDS Wavendon Towers, Milton Keynes
Client: Marriott Construction
Products Used: Reynaers Eco 50 windows and doors, CW50 curtain wall, Vision 50 entrance doors
Another one of Hazlemere’s challenging commercial window projects, it provided an opportunity to work closely with a new partner, Reynaers Ltd, for the first time. The specification called for sloped roof glazing which due to the site constraints had to be lifted and installed by crane. The project value was £450,000 + VAT
Maidenhead Town Hall, Maidenhead, Berkshire
Client: Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead Council
Products Used: Monaframe externally beaded casement windows and commercial entrance doors
The Town Hall underwent a major renovation programme to bring it into the 21st century. The existing windows were replaced with aluminium windows, which retained the original design features, but low maintenance. The Town Hall being a public building, had to remain fully accessible at all times. The project was valued at £400,000 + VAT
World Duty Free, Egham, Surrey
Client: World Duty Free
Products Used: Sapa Elegance 52 curtain wall, Sapa Dualframe 75 & 55 casement windows, 75 HP doors and 202 commercial entrance doors
This project involved obtaining planning permission from Runnymede Borough Council and erection of a gantry over the warehouse doors to allow the 24/7 operation of World Duty Free’s business supplying Heathrow Airport’s shops to continue throughout the installation of high performance solar control glass sealed units to the 1st floor elevation, and during the commercial door replacement with 75 HP doors and Saapa 202 commercial entrance doors. The project’s value was £122,000 + VAT
Egham Leisure Centre, Egham, Surrey
Client: Runnymede Borough Council
Products Used: Dualframe 75 & 55 casement windows and commercial entrance doors
This project involved the installation of a new stairwell screen adjacent to the main entrance and included structural steelworks, timber roof construction and a tiled roof. This project was valued at £55,635 + VAT
Rob Masters Ltd, Vaux Road, Wellingborough

Products Used: Dualframe 75 casement windows, 202 commercial entrance doors and Sapa Elegance 52ST curtain wall system
Working with the architect, this new build project involved the installation of commercial window replacement aluminium casement windows incorporating Kingspan cladding adaptors to create a state-of-the-art building. The result is an attractive flush modern facade. This project was valued at £41,000 + VAT
The Courtyard, Glory Park, Wooburn Green, Buckinghamshire

This was a development of 9 office blocks, each extending to three floors with a gallery second floor to seven of the blocks. One of Hazlemere’s new build commercial window projects, valued at £36,733 + VAT
Wycombe Wanderers Club Shop, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire

Products Used: Sapa Dualframe 75 casement windows & Sapa 202 commercial entrance doors
Hazlemere Commercial projects installed a continual run of windows and doors in a new single storey extension to the existing complex at the Football Stadium. All framing had to match the existing Wycombe Wanderers Football Club colours. This project was valued at £25,000 + VAT
