Planning & Building a Conservatory

Building a Conservatory
Before building a conservatory, the key to success is good planning, design and construction. Do You Need Planning Permission?
Not all conservatory construction requires planning, but it is wise when planning a conservatory to ensure your property has a legal document confirming your legal right to build one. As this is something you will need when selling your home, prior to any conservatory build, Hazlemere conservatories will apply on your behalf for planning permission to your Local Council under the Town & Country Planning Act 1990 or for a Certificate of Lawful Proposed Development where this would be more appropriate and likely to succeed than a planning application. This process takes each Local Council about 8 weeks to determine an application from the date it is registered. So when planning a conservatory, make sure that before you start building a conservatory that you have the appropriate legal document.
