Hazlemere's energy rated UPVC Casement Wndows use a new generation, softcoated Low ‘E’ glass, which in effect reflects heat back into the room. The outer pane comprises of an ultra-clear "Low Iron Glass". This product allows both more light and more of the sun’s heat to pass through the window and into your home, maximising the amount of "solar gain".

To enable customers to make the best choice when looking at replacement windows, the British Fenestration Rating Council (BFRC) introduced a Window Energy Ratings Scheme. By using the same ratings system that items such as fridges and washing machines, you can now rate a window from any given window supplier. The finished window combination is independently tested, and awarded a rating from A to C.

• A Rated Windows - The highest energy rating in the double and triple glazing industry - All Hazlemere's UVPC casement windows achieve this standard.
• C Rated Windows - The minimum standard energy rated casement window. This rating is the minimum legal threshold for energy saving required by UK Building Regulations since 1st October 2010.
  

Product combinations achieving an "A" rating demonstrate they have been designed, manufactured and tested to provide the highest level of thermal efficiency. All UK window companies and home owners must install "C" rated windows or above, or windows that have a maximum combined U-Value of 1.6 W/m2K.
