Horizontal Sliding Secondary Glazing

Secondary glazing is designed to reduce noise and cut heat loss by adding a horizontal sliding secondary glazed window inside your existing external window. Horizontal sliding secondary glazing is easy to fit, cost effective and is very popular in conservation areas or in listed buildings where the existing external windows cannot be changed.

Secondary glazing is ideal near busy roads, airports, railway lines or where your existing windows are draughty. Even if you have double glazing already you may still find it beneficial to fit secondary glazing. You can also add a flyscreen to triple track secondary glazing allowing you to keep out both bugs and noise.

The horizontal sliding secondary glazing we supply and install can between 400mm to 4900mm wide and from 400mm to 1980mm high. The glazed panels slide on either wheels or hard wearing nylon skids. In the closed position the secondary glazed panels click and latch onto the outer frame. Secondary glazing comes as standard in white, brown or silver colours, or it can be in any one of over 200 RAL colours.
