Vertical sliding secondary glazing is one of the most popular types of secondary glazing, second only to the more "traditional" horizontal sliding secondary glazing. This style of secondary opens upwards sliding vertically and is perfect for sash windows.
Designed to match existing sash windows, tilt back balanced vertical sliding secondary glazing is one of our most popular secondary glazing products. Please note that the top of the range tilt back vertical sliding secondary glazed window is only available in the luxury subframe system. One major benefit of tilt back vertical sliding secondary glazing is that it is ideal for access for cleaning, as both the back of the glass and the existing window can be easily cleaned
Hazlemere Windows supply and fit a non tilt back, balanced vertical slider that is designed to hide behind your existing sash window. They are very similar to the extremely popular tilt back balanced vertical sliders, other than the fact that the panels on this window do not tilt back. They are popularly used in schools or other situations where health and safety issues will not allow the windows to be able to tilt inwards.
The unbalanced vertical slider, which is also known as the "guillotine", has been designed to complement your existing sash windows. These unbalanced units are the most affordable vertically sliding secondary glazing supplied and fitted by Hazlemere Windows.
