Like so many of our customers, Ms D of Welwyn Garden City found herself torn between choosing UPVC or aluminium, originally enquiring about both in her first interaction with Hazlemere. We talked her through the specifics of the two materials and visually illustrated what they would bring to the house, and it helped identify that our ultra-slim aluminium windows were perfect for the job.
Proceeding with an order for 17 aluminium even-leg casement windows featuring white integral Georgian bars (including a bay window), an interesting design point was requested. Look closely at the matching-coloured French doors that also now inhabit the building to stylishly connect the indoor setting to the outdoor space and you will spot what it is – the door handle is aligned with the frame.
The bay window, along with all the other brand-new openings, is powder-coated in Hipca White (RAL 9910), a popular high-gloss, bright white finish. It appears a small office space has been set-up directly facing the bay, offering a radiant nook for working and panoramic views.
