And once you’ve seen the options first-hand you’ll have a much better idea of what will work on your property.
A word of warning
Adding a new roof to your existing conservatory will give it a whole new lease of life. Solar control glass can give you a room you’ll love to use whatever the temperature outside. Or a solid roof with lightweight tiles can make a conservatory feel like any other original room in your house.
However, you do need to be sure that the existing frames and base are suitable for the new addition you plan. Make sure you get an expert opinion, such as ours, on what is possible before you give the go ahead to anyone. A light touch
A solid roof doesn’t have to result in a dark room. If you decide to go for a solid roof you can add in glass panels or Velux windows to keep natural light flooding in.
