We’re Giving Back This September
We count our blessings to be a successful business with 35 years heritage under our belt, but we know not everyone is so lucky. With that in mind, we like to do our bit for charity and are proudly announcing our next fundraising plan.
The Braham family, owners of Hazlemere for 35 years, have pledged to donate £25 to charity, for every composite door that is sold to our retail customers during September 2019.
Doors will be popular during September. It’s the time of year that homeowners remember a draught from last year and want to order their new, thermally efficient door ready for a cosier winter. With the summer holidays behind us minds return to that home improvement project that needed to be tackled this year. And Hazlemere are also introducing an exciting new door range. So door enquiries will definitely be busy.
As a local family business we naturally feel a close connection to our local communities, they are our customers, our friends, our neighbours and the communities that the Hazlemere team also live in. There are so many worthy charities on our doorstep and we will be sharing the money raised between two of them. The Willow Foundation, based in Welwyn Garden City, provide unforgettable special days for seriously ill young adults. The second recipient will be The Thomas Ball Cancer Fund, who arrange trips to Disneyland Paris for seriously ill children.
We look forward to handing over what we hope to be sizeable donations in October.
