Sales Consultant (Hertfordshire Based)

Hazlemere is seeking energetic, determined, and results-driven Sales Consultants to join our team in Welwyn Garden City. If you’re ready to take on a rewarding role and help transform homes, we’d love to hear from you!

We are recruiting for both our windows & doors team and our conservatory & living space team too. Experience in either is required.

Location: Welwyn Garden City,  AL7 1EW (with travel across the area)

Salary: Competitive + Commission

Job Type: Self-Employed (PAYE would be considered) with guarantee of earnings in the first 3 months

Sales Consultant – The Role:

Based in our modern showrooms, you’ll work on a private appointment basis, visiting customers’ homes and using the latest online presentation tools. This dynamic role involves understanding customer design requirements and transforming them into tailored design solutions using our bespoke software.

We’re looking for a motivated, creative self-starter with a technical aptitude and the ability to take ownership of designs from concept to completion. This is an excellent opportunity to excel in an aspirational sales environment and enjoy the rewards that come with it.

We provide comprehensive product, design, and software training, alongside inspirational showrooms and a hands-on consultative sales culture.

Sales Consultant – Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend qualified appointments both in customers’ homes and through online design tools, understanding their needs and offering innovative home improvement products
  • Work with homeowners to design their dream living space or custom windows and doors using our unique design software and product range
  • Visit new and existing customers who have shown interest in our products, providing advice on planning, building regulations, and design (full training provided)
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with customers, contributing to business success through exceptional service
  • Actively listen to customers, ask insightful questions, and gather ideas to create tailored designs that meet their needs

Sales Consultant – You:

  • Industry experience within the fenestration sector
  • A full driving license and car ownership are required, as the role involves regular travel
  • Highly driven, determined to succeed, and flexible in adapting to different customer needs
  • Passionate about helping customers and delivering exceptional service
  • Goal-oriented with proven experience in consistently hitting or exceeding targets
  • A professional sales consultant who represents the company and industry with integrity
  • Strong numerical and logical thinking skills for effective decision-making
  • Proficient in IT, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to inspire, inform, and engage customers

Living Space Sales Designer

Location: High Wycombe & Welwyn Garden City

We are looking to recruit an experienced Living Space Sales Designer for our proven and busy showrooms, providing UPVC and aluminium conservatories, orangeries and extensions.

Working from provided leads with a good rate of commission.

Preferably self-employed although employed may be considered.

Amazing showrooms to work out of with the latest online presentation tools plus a dedicated presentation room with VR and large screen.

Sales Consultant (Buckinghamshire Based)

Hazlemere are looking for energetic, determined and results-focused Sales Consultants to join their business based in High Wycombe. Ideally a window & door sales consultant along with a conservatory living space sales consultant.

Location: High Wycombe

Salary: Competitive (OTE circa £50k)

Job Type: PAYE basic with commission earnings or self-employed basis.

  • The role is highly versatile and dynamic, you will be required to visit customers’ homes, establish their design requirements, and interpret these into a design solution, modelled using bespoke software

  • You must be a motivated and passionate self-starter, an enterprising, creative thinker, with a technical aptitude and the ability to take ownership of designs from concept to creation
  • Full product training is provided

Sales Consultant – Key Responsibilities:

  • Meeting homeowners and helping them to create their dream new living space or window and door design using our unique design software and product range
  • Working flexibly to visit new and existing customers who have shown an interest in our “new living space or window or door” designs, giving meaningful advice on issues like planning and building regulations; full training is given in these areas
  • Build effective relationships which will contribute to the business success through the delivery of exceptional customer service
  • You will be responsible for listening to the customer, understand their needs, be curious and question to gather the ideas needed to create the desired design

Sales Consultant – You:

  • As sales consultant you will be highly driven, determined to succeed, highly flexible and deliver true professionalism to the customer, the company, and the industry alike
    • You must be smart and professional, as you will be the one who sets the first impression of the company
    • You will be a passionate, highly driven individual who enjoys helping customers
    • You will be highly goal orientated with demonstrable experience of hitting or exceeding targets
    • A flexible and adaptable truly professional sales consultant, delivering professionalism to the customer, company, and industry
    • You must be a self-starter with a creative flair and the ability to take ownership of designs from concept to creation
    • Excellent numerical skills, be able to think logically and be objective in your decision making
    • Good IT skills required, Word, Excel, Outlook etc
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate the customer
    • Good problem-solving skills, able to identify cost efficient solutions to problems
    • You must be friendly, determined, and able to demonstrate the value of our marketplace product to new customers
    • A highly responsive individual, you will understand the importance of responding quickly to daily challenges
    • You will want to make a difference, not satisfied with the status quo, you will have a strong opinion on how to be the best salesperson

Labourer

Location: High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire
Salary: £90 per day

Hazlemere Window Company Ltd are looking for a Labourer. Hazlemere Window Co. Ltd is a customer focused retail installer of high-quality home improvement products spanning contemporary extensions, conservatories, orangeries, replacement roofs, windows and doors in both uPVC and aluminium.

Labourer – You:

  • Involves working as part of an installation team for our retail department, to assist with window & door, or conservatory installations
  • Preparing sites, tools and materials
  • Assisting with the transporting, loading and unloading of building materials, equipment and tools

Essential:

  • Ability to talk to members of the public
  • Must drive and have a full licence

Conservatory Installer – You:

  • A passion for delivering excellent customer service
  • Be a good communicator
  • Be self-motivated with the ability to work on your own initiative.
  • Ensuring an excellent quality service is achieved on all conservatory installations

Essential:

  • Previous quality fitting experience
  • UK driving licence
  • If joining as a self-employed team, must have your own van and tools
  • Ideally teams of 2 minimum

Preferable:

  • Fenestration Level 2 NVQ

Service Engineer

Location: High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire and surrounding areas
Salary: Competitive

Hazlemere Window Company Ltd are looking for a service engineer to join our experienced service team, delivering a first class customer service experience for our window, door and conservatory customers.

Service Engineer – You:

  • You will undertake service works to identify and rectify any issues with our products, within the warranty period.
  • You will have the skills to undertake installation and repair works to conservatories, windows and doors, including but not limited to; installing sealed units, replacements sashes and door slabs, door adjustments, replacement small parts such as hinges and handles, identifying and fixing roof leaks etc.

Essential:

  • Must have window, door and conservatory installation or service engineer experience
  • Due to the nature of this role, a full UK driving license is required
  • A good deal of common sense, etiquette and ability to think on one’s feet.
  • Flexibility and a proactive approach
  • Ability to work without supervision and to work as part of a team.
  • Good organisational and planning skills.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to use one’s initiative to resolve issues quickly in an appropriate manner.

Production and CNC Process Co-Ordinator

Location: High Wycombe Factory
Salary: Competitive

Hazlemere Window Company Ltd have been manufacturing aluminium windows and doors in our High Wycombe factory for 40 years, and are now looking for a Production and CNC Process Co-Ordinator to join our expert team of fabricators.

You:

  • Processing various aluminium windows and doors systems from CAD drawings through system house design software (Tech Design, Logikal)
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations and product manuals
  • Requisition all necessary materials with Procurement team
  • Create CNC preps and programmes for CNC operators, which will provide the correct information for the preps to each individual piece of material. (Elucad)
  • Communicate with all necessary departments from surveying through to procurement

Essential:

  • Excellent attention to detail with strong communication skills
  • Ability to work without supervision with excellent analytical and problem solving ability
  • Strong organisational, time management and planning skills
  • Ability to work as a part of a team and hit targets

Preferable:

  • Previous experience of Fenestration Industry
  • Experience with Autocad/Tech design/Logikal software
