The glass in the windows is kept firmly in place by the leaded strips and the hardware affixed to the window design gives it a seemingly old-fashioned effect. They can be operated with effortless ease, as can the French doors. Also coloured in cream, they take up very little space, yet manage to have a towering presence that it is impossible to ignore when you fancy reverting to the outside space.

You wouldn’t mind staying cooped up inside though as you would be unlikely to be able to take your eyes off the maze-like front garden. The various bits of foliage that have grown on the exterior of the building really add to the distinctiveness of the new windows and doors.
