It’s very easy to identify whether a home extension is a conservatory or orangery as the former contains a greater volume of glass. That’s not to say that an orangery doesn’t still have a good amount of glass, especially because of its prolonged glass roofing system. The glass roof on this design measures a considerable distance and gives the light of the sun plenty opportunity to invade the entire space. It’s when people are outside of the orangery that they begin to fully take in how much the glazed roof adds to the design.
