When Andy and Jo informed our design team that they wanted a new glazed extension incorporated into their Oxfordshire property that also encompassed some bi-folding doors, the team’s immediate suggestion was the use of our premium glass roof. It made sense as it is customisable and ensured a seamless integration of the bi-fold.
The glass roof extension, complete with the aforementioned bi-folds, provides the most stunning walkway from one part of the house to the other and it’s a saunter that they both love taking. On those beautifully warm summer days, they cannot help but open the bi-folds to allow the sun to fill the space, leaving it feeling even more bright and airy.
We also took care of fitting a picture window in the house, which, like the glass roof extension, has trim aluminium framework finished in anthracite grey. With the glass dominating the design, there’s nothing more the couple enjoy doing than gazing out through the window and watching the world go by.
This project is a great example of the many assets of aluminium-based installations.
