The owners of this impressive home wanted to replace the existing windows with thermally efficient and high security aluminium windows but were determined to do so without affecting the personality of their beautiful home. With a requirement for thin frames to retain the aesthetic of traditional timber windows and the colour choice of black to nestle unobtrusively into the building's ivy clad facade it is the attention to detail that has made all the difference in the design of these replacement windows.
The bay windows at the front of the property are beautifully shaped, with square leaded lights in the bays and other windows of the house. Queen Anne decorative glass leadwork was featured in the owner's original door and so obvious thought has gone into replicating the style of the glass in the pair of windows either side of the front entrance. The use of the blue and amber glass in feature windows adds an air of elegance to this stunning house.
