Commercial Project Manager

Hazlemere's Dedicated Commercial Division is looking for a Commercial Project Manager to join their team in High Wycombe.

Commercial Project Manager - Purpose of the Role:

Manage the installation process and installers to ensure that commercial projects are completed to an excellent level of customer services. To control customer debts and keep debtors list to an acceptable minimum.

Commercial Project Manager - Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

- To manage all installers to undertake installations within the KPIs set and agreed with the Line Manager.

- Manage a team of Installers and any other resources required for the effective and efficient running of the department. Manage self-employed contractual obligations and enforce and monitor KPI’s for all staff within the installation system

- Provide accurate, regular and timely management information on customer records, completed installations and customer debtors

- Set communicated targets with the Installers and other members of the Commercial department

- Communicate and update all customers at point of Installation until completion and maintain excellent customer services

- Carry out any other duties that may be deemed necessary for the completion of the works by the company and/or the line manager

- Ensure that all customer contractual obligations are met

- Enforce and monitor all Health and Safety aspects on site and within the team, ensure all relevant training is up to date for all Installation staff

- Deal with and resolve or delegate any on site issue as they arise

- Monitor and arrange as applicable relevant training to enable installer to carry out installations works

- Raise, monitor, action and report on Non-conformances as necessary.

Commercial Project Manager – Essential Experience:

- CSCS card holder

- SMSTS Qualified

- Strong organisational and planning skills

- Self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised and as a part of a team

- A strong people Manager with excellent communication skills and influencing skills

- A strong customer focus both for internal and external customers

- A positive can do attitude

- Intermediate experience and knowledge of Microsoft office

- Contractual and Health and Safety knowledge

Factory Operatives

Hazlemere Window Company is a family owned business with over three decades of experience in manufacturing and installing Windows, Doors, Conservatories, and Orangeries. We are often on the look out for full-time Factory Operatives to work within our 38,000 square foot factory in High Wycombe. This role will report directly to both the Factory Manager and the Production Manager to help in the manufacturing of bespoke aluminium windows and doors to Hazlemere's high standard.

Whether you have previous fenestration experience or are new to the industry we have positions within our skills matrix that will fit your experience; however, some general experience within the window industry and specifically with the CNC machines such as Elumatec and Emmegi or similar is desirable.

Windows and Doors Sales Consultant (Bucks Based)

Hazlemere Window Company Ltd. is looking for an experienced Windows and Doors Sales Consultant for South Buckinghamshire and Surrounding Areas.

This leading role is for an experienced double glazing sales person to help spearhead Hazlemere's impressive refurbished showroom on Cressex Business Park in High Wycombe, generating sales of bespoke double glazed aluminium and UPVC windows and doors from high quality retail leads provided primarily throughout Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and surrounding areas. You will have your own vehicle, however you will be provided with all necessary hardware, software, literature and samples. You will operate from offices within Hazlemere’s large home improvements showroom in High Wycombe. Occasional showroom duties are currently shared with the other sales consultants, some of whom sell only conservatories.

Sales commissions are uncapped, with no limit placed on higher earnings. Hazlemere seek a self-motivated individual who is polite, punctual, diligent and customer focused.

Previous double glazing sales experience essential, preferably with a working knowledge of both UPVC and aluminium systems (both not vital, but would be useful). Experience with First Degree Systems software would be an advantage, but not essential as training will be provided.

Factory Operatives (Temp)

Conservatory Surveyor

The role of Conservatory Surveyor is part field and part office based. In essence, the role is to take a contract from the point of sale to the point where it is ready for order processing prior to installation. A good sound knowledge of the conservatory and building industry and previous experience in surveying is essential.

Duties include:

  • Making appointments with customers to carry out the survey.
  • Meeting with customer at their home and reviewing the contract sold.
  • Discussing and confirming with client all choices regarding design.
  • Carrying out a comprehensive survey to determine manufacturing sizes.
  • Identifying any discrepancies between the contract sold and the final work to be carried out.
  • Liaising with Contracts Manager regarding any alterations to contract.
  • Producing full working drawings for Planning Applications, Building Regulations, Builders and Order Processing as necessary for each installation.
  • Submitting applications and following these through.
  • Providing the Purchasing Department with a list of the materials required on each project.

Qualities required include:

  • Previous surveying experience.
  • Good knowledge of current Building Regulations.
  • A methodical and accurate work ethic.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good working knowledge of the window/conservatory/building industry.
  • Computer literate.
  • MTC card or equivalent.
  • Clean driving licence.

Desired Skills and Experience

Previous experience surveying conservatories essential, ideally in both aluminium and UPVC. The successful applicant will be well versed in current planning and Building Regulations relating to replacement and new conservatory and orangery structures. A working knowledge of First Degree Systems, Sage, Roofwright, Word, Outlook etc. would be beneficial. Training will be provided in any area where required.

The successful applicant will be a highly dedicated and responsible individual who is extremely thorough and methodical, with the appropriate previous experience in the double glazing industry.

The position offers to start with 22 days annual holiday plus statutory holidays, with extra days gradually added in the future for loyalty of service.
