“Messy” stage of 8,000 square feet showroom refurbA month into Hazlemere Window Company’s High Wycombe showroom refurbishment and expansion (i.e the doubling of the home improvement showroom from 4,000 square feet to 8,000 square feet), they are in the rather “messy” stage, with several walls being knocked about to create a much more extensive open plan showroom. Whilst staff are constantly sweeping, hoovering and mopping, the dust just goes everywhere, so visitors to the showroom will understand why Hazlemere put up the notice apologising for the temporary disruption, as considerable disturbance is often the pre-requiste to growth.
Earlier this week a rather attractive “P” shaped aluminium conservatory, along with its old stocks brick dwarf wall was demolished to make way for a state of the art new orangery. The new double glazing showroom will feature two new orangeries, four new conservatories, residential doors, bay windows, sliding sash windows, secondary glazing, UPVC cladding, fascias and soffits, guttering, bi-folding doors, sliding patio doors, stable doors, front doors, back doors and UPVC, composite and aluminium French doors.
With the building works in full swing, including the RSJ that is going above the new set of white aluminium bi-folding doors that will be on permanent demonstration seven days a week, the foundations are being laid for an up-to-date showroom with new ceiling, lighting, air-conditioning, flooring and high quality furniture that will enable home owners to see a wide variety of styles, designs, colour and material finishes manufactured from the latest most technologically advanced thermally efficient double glazed products available in the marketplace.
Hazlemere are hoping that the works will be completed before the end of May, when the fruits of their labours, along with this substantial investment in contemporary and traditional designs and options, will be readily available for all to see. The showroom is staying open seven days a week throughout the refurbishment, and is open Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm, Saturday 10am to 4pm and Sunday 10am to 1pm.
