Available in 2, 3 or 4 sections, soon after their release a couple of years ago these Sapa Building Systems’ Crown aluminium sliding doors were the first to be granted a Door Set Energy Rating (DSER) of A+ by the British Fenestration Ratings Council (BRFC) and you can’t get a greater seal of approval than that.

To achieve this rating they had to undergo intense testing procedures where they managed to reach a positive energy balance of 10 or more, the standard requirement for the new A+ rating.

An A+ rating was introduced to acknowledge just how far technology has progressed to enable products such as these to reach new heights in terms of energy performance. Possessing such a high standard of energy efficiency will also be beneficial should thermal performance criteria in relation to building regulations be tightened at any point.
