We Need A New Project Manager

There’s so many projects lined up for the team now and over the coming months that it has necessitated the recruitment of a new Project Manager at Hazlemere.

The role of Project Manager requires the incumbent to manage our commercial window and door installation process and installers, whilst ensuring that all double glazing commercial projects are delivered to an exceptionally high standard. Answerable to our Commercial Operations Director, they must also make certain that customer debts and debtors lists are minimised as much as possible.

A list of some of the Responsibilities and Accountabilities the successful candidate will have are outlined below:

  1. Manage all installers and conduct installations within the KPIs set and agreed with the Line Manager.
  2. Run the department in an effective and efficient manner, and manage all HR duties and employee and self-employed contractual obligations.
  3. Ensure all information supplied on customer records, completed installations and customer debtors is accurate and timely.
  4. Set targets for installers and Commercial Department members.
  5. Keep customers updated throughout the entire installation process.
  6. Complete any additional duties assigned to you by the company and/or line manager.
  7. Ensure that all customer contractual obligations are met.
  8. Abide by Health & Safety regulations and make certain that all team members do the same by providing them with regular training.
  9. Arrange relevant training for installers.

To be eligible for the role you must possess the following:

·         Health & Safety Training to Management level

·         CSCS card holder

·         SMSTS Qualified

·         Have strong organisational and planning skills

·         Be self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised and as a part of a team

·         A strong manager of people with excellent communication skills and influencing skills

·         A strong customer focus for both internal and external customers

·         A positive can do attitude

·         Intermediate experience and knowledge of Microsoft office.

·         Contractual and Health and Safety knowledge

Having the below skills and experience will also be imperative:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work without supervision with excellent analytical and problem solving ability
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work as a part of a team
  • Experience and knowledge of Microsoft office.

You will preferably have the following expertise too:

  • Project Management experience
  • Administrative experience
