Hazlemere Windows at the Welwyn & Hatfield Times Community Awards
The Welwyn & Hatfield Times Community Awards is back for its second year and at Hazlemere Windows we are very excited to be part of it.
The Welwyn Hatfield Times are hosting the WHT Community Awards on 13th July 2018, the ceremony where the people who have made a significant contribution to their community get rewarded and recognized for it. Whether it has been through volunteering or fundraising, or they happen to be an unsung local hero these people get the chance to be nominated, and the community get the opportunity to say thank you and to celebrate the amazing work and all the things they’ve done for others.
Hazlemere Windows are sponsoring the Charity Champions Award, an award for any person or group that are committed to raising money for good causes. We are excited to see who the winner will be on the 13th.
The event will take place at the Oaklands College in Welwyn Garden City, this worthwhile evening is going to be hosted by the talented Sky Sports F1 commentator David Croft.
This is not the first time that ‘Crofty’ has been involved with inspirational causes and events, throughout his life he has supported amazing causes like the ICAP Charity Day and Sporting Memories, and he is also an Ambassador for the children’s charity Starlight.
