Helping Ill Children and Young Adults Make Magical Memories

Hazlemere has a very clear vision of how we want to make our way in the world. Our mission lays it out in black and white. We are here to make a difference.

We want to improve things; not just the family homes of our customers but also improve things for our team and for the local communities in which we live and work. A big part of how we can help our local community is to give back and support local good causes where and when we can. We feel really strongly that as a family business we should share our success. We recently visited the fabulous team at Willow Foundation, Welwyn Garden City, who help arrange special days for seriously ill young adults. Nathan and Julie from our Welwyn showroom are pictured handing over our donation following a pledge we made linked to our September sales.

The same amount was also donated to The Thomas Ball Children’s Cancer Fund who are based close to our High Wycombe showroom, a well-known charity in the local area who organise holidays for seriously ill children.

In addition to company donations the caring team at Hazlemere will also dig deep for a good cause. In the run up to Christmas we had ‘Elf Day’, and a few other fun activities to raise £183 for the Alzheimer’s Society. Plus instead of Secret Santa for each other, this Christmas we bought presents for Wycombe Homeless Connection; toasters, pans, clothing and basic food stuffs. All aimed to help someone get back on their feet once they have found a place to live.

We love our colleagues, well done Hazlemere staff for your generosity!
