It’s been the driest year in living memory and if that continues during the autumn and winter, it may give you a chance to peg out your wet clothes on the washing line, instead of throwing them in a tumble dryer or placing them on your radiators.
This will also prevent a build-up of moisture inside your house, something that can cause condensation to occur on your windows.
